I have worked for and with companies in New York, London, Leeds, Torrevieja and Algorfa producing and maintaining high-traffic websites - some e.g. FeaturesExec receive over 40,000 unique visitors each week. I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in BSc eCommerce & Multimedia, which is the study of dynamic websites, online transactions and the technology and marketing aspects that surround them. My degree course was also sponsored by industry leader Sun MicroSystems.

Each website I design is built from the ground up to ensure quality. The sites are written in valid XHTML and CSS as standard and pass validation tests from the W3C or Section 508. The site will also be written with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in mind. This will help search engines know what content is on your site and rank it accordingly. Some web agencies charge thousands for this.

Once the site is completed I will also go a step further and register the site with dozens of top search engines from around the world to ensure people know about your site. With extra focus on Google - arguably the most popular search engine in the world - I will create your website a 'GoogleSiteMap' that will help Googles robots (GOOGLEBOT) read your site easier and improve it's ranking on Google. Most web design companies will not do this or more likely charge you a high fee. With me you get a full package, not just the design & development.

I offer three packages:

• Personal Package

  - This is for individuals that want a simple website, a few pages long, to advertise themselves or their hobby/business etc.

• Business Package

  - This is for businesses that want a more complex site. Typically these websites have lots of products, a search engine, admin section, (Option to link the site to PayPal and use their shopping basket and secure checkout)

• eCommerce Package

  - This is for a business who wishes to sell their products online and take online transactions (eCommerce - what I did my degree in). The site will have a full product catalogue, search engine, shopping basket and your own secure checkout. If you choose this package you will need an 'Online Merchant' account from your bank and also an SSL certificate. I can consult with you on your best options.

• I prefer to design websites using XHTML/CSS, but I could also integrate aspects of JavaScript or Shockwave Flash if you wish. My server-side scripting language of choice is PHP with a MySQL database on Apache servers. In my experience these ingredients will enable you to create a website that can do practically anything you want it to do, at a lower cost than using Microsofts ASP with a Window server. However if you wish to pay more for the Windows/Microsoft package that is entirely up to you.
• Prices obviously depend on several factors: amount of content, design, special functions, databases and external factors. I charge a fair price for the amount of work requested. Feel free to ask for a quote.
