I also work as a Full Time Web Developer for Daryl Willcox Publishing. The company runs several high-traffic websites, FeaturesExec being one of them.

The website

The website contains several large sections: Features Lists and Publication Database, Press List Express and the Freelance Journalist Directory. Customers can search for information on over 7000 publications or over 2000 freelance journalists, they can then sort this information to create a Press List. The whole aim of the site is for Public Relations Professionals to be able to contact Journalists and Publications more easily.

My input so far on this website has been: re-designing the home page to improve navigation and load time, the Media Bulletin page, and also the administration section, updating Press Lists Express, fixing the main keyword search. I have also re-written one of the products, Press Lists Express, which is a subscription based media contacts manager.
